Description
PETG is recommended; PLA and other materials are untested
The recess for the lamp head release switch is the mounting position for the base clip
Do not forcefully attempt to reshape the base clip; it will break; gently pry it open just enough to fit
The lamp body uses a vertical 1/4-inch screw hole for mounting to the light stand; use the original light stand base
Vertical mounting relies on gravity to keep the attachment stable and secure
The purpose of this creation is to have a more compact and less cumbersome alternative to the bulky S-mount for conventions
In terms of storage, as the base only adds minimal bulk to the lamp head and adds a small peripheral bracket, it has virtually no effect on storage and can be easily stored in a bag without wasting extra space
Note: The first-generation lamp head is slightly smaller, and the mount accessories, for universal compatibility, have some play on the first-generation base
