I used this tied to a piece of string to measure the amount of water in my water tank. Dropped it in, marked on the string when I felt the string tighten with the weight of the float, Shrank the model to 50% of original size as i didn’t need it full sized. Liked the design in 2 pieces with a threaded joiner.
