Note: PLA might be strong enough, but I chose PETG due to concerns about heat when printing ABS or other high-temp filaments in an enclosed chamber.

Are those two AMS 2 Pros or the first gen AMS's? Asking because i to have the P2S and an ams 2 pro and i'm buying a second one and i'm wondering if this will work for me as well. Love to color by the way.

2 AMS 2 Pros. and its eSUN silky magic blue green! id be a little concerned if I was running a hot chamber more regularly, but I mostly print PLA with some PETG right now. might remake is a sturdier material later. so far so good on this!

This was exactly what I needed. Given the very limited space of my current set up, this was really the only way I was going to get two AMS units and keep them accessible. The print process itself was smooth and finished with no errors. The “front” set assembled very nicely, and I was able to do it by hand. The “back” set, however, was a different story. The dovetail groove was very tight and required a lot of force to slide into place. I ended up breaking both sets of grooves trying to hammer the pieces together. I could have avoided the breakage had I been more careful, but it worked out in the end. I just glued the pieces and it held together all the same. Overall I’d definitely recommend this print if you need/want to top mount two AMS units. It’s a lot more compact and still gives easy access to all fillament slots. I am using a P1S with an AMS 1 and AMS 2, and everything fit together just fine. Thanks for the great model, you unlocked 8 color printing for me! 😁🫶🏻

Of course! I think that’s the big difference between designers and just makers/printer. There is no value in complaining. Plus a lot of the times the things people complain about are completely outside of the designers hands, but people don’t understand that. Like giving a bad review because they have bad bed adhesion and have never cleaned their build plate in 2 years lol. They just blame the thing they printed. Giving and receiving feedback is one of the best way to improve a design. I’m happy to give my experience, in hopes of helping whoever it is to improve their own design if need be! 😁

you are 100% right. nothing irritates me more than people giving a bed review because they don't know how to use the printer. 1 of 10 people not getting the print to work and the other 9 have no problems, its 100% the design or the print profile there is something wrong with and not the person or the printer, and then leaving 1 star and not seeing the other 9 people who had no problems with it and giving it some thought. 😂😂 its people like you that understands to give real feedback that improves this community and thank you for that. 🤩🤩

Printed in PETG HF, the joints are too tight, they got damaged trying to assemble them

great design and print. wow those joints are tight tho. had to use a screw clamp to get it together. also I used PLA. will find out if it an issue
