Description

A toy based on the iconic mecha frame from Titanfall. It has a lack of detail owed to limitations in FDM detailing. Maybe a detailed SLA version can exist in the future. Included are the STLs for all the parts in this toy, as well as PDF instructions and a Youtube Tutorial on the assembly. I recommend having small pliers and superglue on hand. And band aids, because I am still quite bad with tolerances!

This is the first in the (hopeful) lineup of my new RGB filament series. All will more or less scale (toys wise) with HG gunpla kits. Green for this, can you guess who red and blue will be? I recommend using PETG at the very least, for the clips. The rest can be any filament you choose, as long as you dial in the settings. The body shell thighs and torso are separate, as they need supports to print. Everything else can be printed without supports. The sword is a bit finicky, and I apologize for that. If you have any more questions or doubts, feel free to message me or reach out to me @ overtinkered@gmail.com

One final thing, the point of the clip system is to be replaceable without chucking the entire build, but that tends to make them a little decapitat-ey. I will try to work on that next, but for now, please bear with this quirk! Oh, and here are the instructions (with a pdf in the post to download):

PS: Last Summer, I launched the modular frameworks figure kit. I did an epicly poor job of explaining the point of it, which is pretty on brand for me. So this project was born: a figure whose form and features take a lot of inspiration from the iconic Titanfall mecha. This figure system (MFW) is designed to allow anyone to design what figure they want without worrying about the joints (which I will continue to develop and refine). Because when I started out, I didn't have this. I have a few more mecha I plan to make toys based off (no spoilers) and I will be updating the original MFW post with new parts and fixes because that thing is atrocious!

Also PS: If you are interested in what I am up to, my Instagram handle is @bouncing_gears and my reddit handle is u/halreaper . I can be found posting current projects and works. mostly toys, but I have been expanding my horizons a tad. Finally, if you feel like it, you can support my work with donations on the Ko-Fi in my bio!
