JELLYCAT'S BASHFUL DRAGON KEYCHAIN

This project presents a simple and straightforward model: a keychain featuring an adorable dragon, a cherished member of my household. His name is Dragui, a gentle soul who usually behaves impeccably, although he did once consume all my stored cookies.

SIZE

60 x 42 x 3 mm

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

Printing this keychain doesn't require a multi-color module like AMS, MMU, or ACE. However, here's the printing process for each scenario:

AMS YES: You can use the uploaded print profile directly.
AMS NO: You can use the same print profile; however, a slightly different, uncomplicated process is required:

  1. Remove the BODY and TORUS parts; this leaves only the green components.
  2. Print directly and, upon completion, do not remove the printed model; maintain a heated bed to prevent detachment.
  3. Switch the filament to black or another color of your choice.
  4. Return to the slicer and reinstate the BODY and TORUS parts using CTRL + Z.
  5. Remove the remaining parts, leaving only the BODY and TORUS components this time.
  6. Send to print; the black color will print over the already printed green, resulting in a two-toned piece upon completion.

Caution: Do not move the parts, as this may cause them to print in different locations, leading to printing errors. Perform color purges correctly to avoid unexpected lines and smudges.

POTENTIAL ISSUES

Parts detaching: Clean the bed; the print has undergone four adhesion tests and has been verified to prevent detachment.
Parts not adhering: Ensure the same materials are used for each color. PLA AND PETG ARE NOT COMPATIBLE!

FILAMENTS USED

BLACK: BAMBU PLA BASIC
GREEN: OVERTURE PLA MATTE
