Description
This is an external air deflector/guide plate for central air conditioning airflow control, which can be directly installed on the outside of the air conditioning outlet to achieve up/down/left/right and four diagonal directions (upper left/lower right, lower left/upper right) guidance.
Print only as needed: Print the corresponding one for the direction you need, no need to print the whole set.
- Compatible Dimensions: The model defaults to a width of 130mm, matching the common 120mm air outlet + 5mm frame total width.
- Dimension Adjustment: If your air conditioning frame dimensions are different, you can scale it in the slicer software before printing (it is recommended to prioritize scaling in the width direction, or scale proportionally overall).
- Length Extension: When a longer air guiding length is needed, you can print multiple and install them side by side to achieve continuous airflow, and multiple air deflectors can be used in different directions.
Printing Recommendations
- Material: PLA can be used; for toughness and temperature resistance, PETG is recommended.
- Parameters: Layer height ≈0.2mm; Wall lines ≥3; Infill 15–25%, no supports.
- Surface and Orientation: To obtain smoother airflow edges, the airflow surface can be adhered to a smooth printing plate.
Installation Recommendations
- It is recommended to use 3M double-sided tape, Velcro or zip ties for fixation, which facilitates fine-tuning and disassembly; when installing, ensure that sensors are not blocked or the air outlet is completely obstructed to reduce wind noise and condensation risks.
Note
- Scaling will affect both the overall thickness and angle effect; to ensure strength and airflow guiding effect, fine-tune as needed rather than scaling significantly.
- Before use, first test blow with low airflow, confirm the angle and position before fully fixing.
