Description
Flightstick extension to use with Thrustmaster style bases and grips. Model is an adaptation of the DIY kit by Zoteosophos, this amazing kit allows you to use PVC pipe as an extension but I didn't like to use the PVC pipe so I made a full 3d printed version.
The inside is wide enough to fit a PS/2 cable in there. That is also what I used a extension chord. You just have to break of one of the pins and remove some of the plastic pin in the middle to make it fit the 5 pin layout of the Thrustmaster plugs.
Has to be printed in place since you can't fit the screw over the shaft after printing. The supports are inside the screwcap but can easily be removed with a bit of moving the screwtop and a small needlenose plier.
There is a small overhang on the top part but that gives no problem in use and if that doesn't print just remove the piece, I feel like it's a waste of material to print big supports to support that one line.
If you need a different height let me know, I'll see if I can make you a different version!
The leather grip in the picture is a bicycle grip for which I made an adapter (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1583309-thrustmaster-virpil-moza-bicycle-grip-adapter#profileId-1666682) that fits this extension as well!
