Description

I needed to secure my aluminium dog cages in the T6 (VW Transporter) so that they do not slide on the wooden ground plane.

I have constructed these corners to ‘pin’ in place the cages with a sturdy piece that can be screwed to the wooden floor.

I needed both, what I call, inside and outside “corners” to secure the cages movements (cf. the photos).

They have just the height to use a M3.5x30 wood screws, making the protruding depth of the screw in the floor 16mm (max to not hit the metal car structure). I counter-sunk the screws and rounded the edges so that the dogs and us cannot hurt ourselves against the pieces.

The piece depth, screw diameter and screw head diameter are configurable in the FX Parameters in Fusion 360 should you need to adapt things for your use.

I have printed it in Bambulab PETG HF for stability over time.
