The New Version of my 3D Printed Monitor Shelf: Support-Free & Easier to Print!
I heard your suggestions. This new shelf can be printed completely without supports, making it a dream for PETG users.
No more worries about parts fusing or any post-processing! The shelf is ready to hold your collectibles, glasses, webcam, USB memory, or any other desk clutter you want to get off your surface.
As before:
- Fits curved or irregular-back monitors without any wobble!
- Adjustable arm to fit for multiple displays thickness
- Thin front “lip” suitable for thin bezel monitors
New:
- Doesn't need supports or any post-processing! Easy and painless print
- Multiple designs to choose (I'll make others with time and add them)
- Large size available! But this hinge system should be more robust to in-slicer resizing*, so you can adapt to suit your needs
- *Resize UP. Resizing down should not work well due to small tolerances!
Choose between the classic Hex grid for a modern, tech-inspired look, or the new industrial "fin" design for an industrial, rough feel.
Both types are designed to not block your monitor's cooling vents, keeping your display safe and running optimally.
Simply slice and print in the provided orientation—it's that easy!
