Compact Glasses Case with Spring Button – 3D Printable (No Supports)

Protect your eyewear in style with this sleek, compact 3D printable glasses case, designed for convenience, durability, and ease of printing. This case features a satisfying snap-close mechanism powered by a built-in spring-loaded button, giving you secure storage with just a press.

Key Features:

  • Spring Button Closure: Integrated button mechanism allows the lid to snap shut with a tactile, satisfying click. Easy to open, yet secure when closed. (But I feel like using the button to open and close will increase its life.)
  • Strong Hinges: Reinforced hinge design ensures long-term durability and smooth operation without the need for metal parts or glue.
  • Compact Form Factor: Designed to fit standard-sized eyeglasses or sunglasses, while maintaining a slim, travel-friendly profile.
  • Support-Free Printing: Fully optimized to print without any support material – just slice and go.
  • Quick Print Time: Efficient design prints in under 2 hours on most FDM printers.
  • Assembly: What assembly? This is PRINT IN PLACE (PIP)

Ideal for anyone looking for a fast, functional, and satisfying print to protect their glasses. Print in PLA, PETG, or ABS for best results.

Name/Text Editing:

The text can be easily edited inside the slicer.

  1. Under the Objects tab select “text_shape"

  2. Now press the the Ta button and make the required changes.

  3. Now reposition your text and slice.

Happy Printing!
