Quick release plate (for cameras and others)

This model is a quick-release lock plate designed for cameras (or any other compatible equipment). It consists of a support plate that securely snaps into its base and requires the push of a button to be released. The base can be mounted onto virtually anything for now, the model is intended to be attached to the shoulder strap of a backpack or similar gear.

 

Printing 
The model can be entirely printed in PLA. However, for better durability and performance, more robust materials are recommended.
It also includes two anti-slip pads printed in TPU. These can technically be printed in PLA, but for optimal grip and functionality, TPU is strongly advised.

Additional Components
This model also requires a few non-3D printed parts:

One spring: I used a standard pen spring, which works perfectly. The spring linked on the Bambu Lab website is also compatible.

One screw for mounting the plate to your camera.

Two M4x6x6 or M4x8x6 heat-set inserts.

Two M4x25 screws (or any length suitable for your application 25 mm worked perfectly for my backpack setup).

⚠️ Note: Choosing the correct screw length is important, as screws that are too long may protrude and cause discomfort. A protective rubber cap to cover the screws is currently in development.
