HexaStack - Slotted Base with Drip Tray
Print Profile(1)

Description
While cleaning up around the kitchen we decided the sad cup that had been holding our straws needed to be up-sized and replaced. My wife likes hexagons, so I made a stepped honeycomb organizer with a slotted base and an attaching drip/crumb tray that's spaced just far enough apart to allow detritus to fall out but not lose any straws in the process. There's a very slight offset on the tray the two pieces friction-fit together nicely.

It's parametric! There are two parameters that can be modified:
- “height” defines the total height of the central column
- “step” is the distance from the central column that each piece will be reduced by.

This means you could make the central piece 100mm and step it down by 20mm at a time if you wanted, or make it 50mm tall with no step at all even.

If you do this in MakerWorld, please compare your print settings to those I've defined in the provided print profile for best results - both global and per-object! This profile is also configured to print at maximum size for an A1 Mini.
At my wife's request I used a tri-color silk from AMOLEN, but then made the tray in PETG-HF just so it'd be a little more durable. Remember if you do use a silk to slow your outer walls for maximum shiny!
