There are plenty of doorstops that keep the door open

But here is a door damper that cushions the momentum when opening the door

Who doesn't have children or strong people in the house who like to slam the door against the wall
In our toilet, the doorknob always hit the tiles
A doorstop on the floor only ever provided temporary relief because it always moved away
A heavy doorstop on the floor? Screwed down
Why not just attach a spring to the center of the wall

So I developed this door damper, which gently cushions the door's momentum
only 3 parts need to be printed
One part for the wall (mounted with adhesive tape or screwed)
A cover that catches the door
a spring - printed

If desired, a felt pad can also be glued on
Since then, no door here has slammed against the wall

Door-Stopper / Damper with printed spring
stops doors from striking the walls

Addendum: Holder for floor mounting added: Simply glue to the floor. Insert door damper, it works
When mounting, pay attention to the distance between the doorknob and the wall

Addendum 2: Because some inquiries came in about why I don't just use rubber - here's the alternative in TPU

Doorstops, toilet lid dampers and more in TPU - so no more doors slam shut

Update 24.10.2024: Stronger spring added - tuerstopper_feder2.step
If it's not strong enough, just let me know :-)

Printed really well. I scaled the outer shell part down a tiny bit to fit a bit more snug and made my own spring, a coil spring that is stronger. https://makerworld.com/en/models/493797#profileId-407625

The spring is a bit weak but does the job! Perfect Print!

The idea is good, but the spring is much too weak I printed a stronger one but it could still be even stronger :D

Modified to extend the base and friction fit below my door using the stronger spring from PWilly mentioned in the comments. Works great
