Description

Fits On A1 Mini

This modular battery station lets you place a charger on a slanted top, which can set on your workbench, or you can print a base (pictured) that connects to it. If you only want the angled top, the Battery Meter tray is specifically designed still work that way.

Adding the base, as you can see, allows for 3 bays. You can stack bases, I created dowels you can print.

I also made drawers for the base, if you choose a tidy look.

  • Angled top provides easier use
  • Lots of Storage:
    • Under the main charger for batteries, dischargers, or cabling
    • Rear storage behind the “wedge” for small cables and things
      • The wedge drawers lock gently, just pull up on them
  • STACKABLE: Interlocking dowels allow for stacking of bases (each base has top and bottom slots for dowels)
  • No Supports: Some bridging required
  • Angled Voltmeter/Tester holder storage

Printing Notes:

  • The wedge prints best if you lay it on it's face with the widest part of the wedge on the bottom, like this:
    •   ^
    • /    \
  • The top of the wedge is a 45degree angle, so should print without supports.
  • The dowels are sized down 0.15mm so they should press fit in, no glue needed. If you do glue, just do one side so you can expand later if you want to build more bases.
  • The Battery Voltmeter/Tester holder, I printed top down and no supports, just bridged the bottom. Turned out decent, but you don't see it anyways.
