Perler Bead Iron Spacer
Our two children currently enjoy making perler bead pictures. I sometimes find it difficult to find the right ironing time and pressure, especially for smaller pictures. Sometimes the pictures also get ironed unevenly
This perler bead iron spacer provides a solution. Simply place it around the outside of the picture and iron until the iron rests on the edge everywhere
For our ironed pictures, a height of 7.5mm is perfect. I think there are other systems as well
I have included different sizes in the print profile. If your size is missing, please leave a comment and I will add it
Update: I have now uploaded a parametric model so you can adjust the height yourself
It is best to use the material you have at home that can withstand the most heat, e.g. ABS or PETG etc
It also works with PLA, but you have to be a bit more careful and not set the iron too hot (e.g. PLA Silk)
