🎩 Mini 갓 (Gat – Korean Noble Hat) for Pet or Remix

This is a miniature version of the traditional Korean 갓 (gat)—a noble’s hat from the Joseon dynasty—designed for pets, display, cosplay props, or creative remixes.

🛠️ Modeled in SolidWorks, this project started with the idea of using infill geometry to simulate the traditional woven mesh of a gat. However, after testing, that approach didn’t work as intended—bridging failures made the structure unreliable. Instead, I created a mesh-style version using concentric circles rising through the model to visually capture the look of a traditional gat.

🧢 Two Included Versions:

• A solid version – sturdy and ideal for use on pets, plushies, or miniatures
• A mesh version – visually accurate but more demanding to print

⚠️ Printing Note: The mesh version requires well-tuned bridging settings specific to the filament you’re using. Poor bridging will result in sagging or gaps, so test your settings beforehand or stick with the solid version for easier prints.
