Bird Foraging Barrel Toy

Introduction

Foraging is a great way to keep your feathered friends entertained.

Fill this foraging barrel with shredded paper, cardboard, and tasty treats such as spray millet, seeds, pellets, or other birdy favorites. For an extra challenge, you can wrap treats inside paper or muffin cups before inserting into the barrel.

Then add a bird-safe clip or hanger to hang it up in their cage and watch the fun as they figure out how to get the goodies out!

Important Safety Information
As with all pet toys, keep safety in mind. 

• The spacing of the openings is roughly 12mm or 1/2", suitable for small pet birds and parrots such as budgies, lovebirds and cockatiels. Before using, please make sure this spacing is appropriate for your size of bird (you can look up appropriate cage bar spacing for your species as a guide).
• Use a non-toxic filament such as a food safe PLA & sand down any roughness or artifacts from printing
• Supervise pets while they are using the toy, and regularly inspect the toy for wear and tear. 
• The bars were designed to be reasonably thick and sturdy, but birdy beaks are strong - do not let them play with this toy if broken.
