Description
Tabletop RPG goodies box
If you are this kind of person, that enjoy meeting your friends twice a year, and play some tRPG together, this model may be for you.
I designed and printed this model with my convenience in mind, so it's slightly opinionated, buy hey - maybe that's what you need to?
This box fixes multiple problems for me:
- It's storage for your most common accesories, you can grab it and you character sheet, and you can go and play a quick session. There is storage for
- Pencil(s) (can fit two)
- Dices (2 or 4 sets)
- sharpener, spellcounters, figurines, adventage dice etc. - you name it.
- It's looking good on a shelf - just that, it's nice storage and also decour.
- Also my girlfriend was screaming at me for keeping dices in zipbag, it pleases her now
- Top part serves as dice tray. It's flat and it's not that easy to lose dice on the floor when using it.
- Don't take a lot of space
So if you have similar kind of problem, or maybe you like the design, this print is for you.
AMS is not required for this print, but it's supported,
Main profile have two versions of top cover - one is with DND logo, another is flat surface - It's up to you which version you pick.
If you don't have AMS, but you like the DND logo, you can change it to negative part, this way you'll have this logo “engraved” into your top cover, which is also cool!
This model is using 8x 6x3mm magnets as lock system, and they seem to hold tight (6x2mm should also work, just don't push them too far).
My magnets are from Aliexpress and were rather cheap, so I bet any magnets will hold it in place.
There is no extra requirements for magnets, if your size is matching mine, they should just work and snap in place when pushed with something tougher than finger (but you should be able to push them lik 90% way through with your finger, then you can finish with something like screwdriver handle or anything you have handy).
Main profile features 2x7 dice holder (standard dnd dice set x2) + pencil + bigger storage for other stuff you may need,
but if you don't need this “catch-all" space, you may like another set of inserts which are 4x 7 dice set + pencil.
Those inserts are compatible, so you can print both and just swap them as you need.
Filaments used:
Sunlu PLA + black
Jayo PLA + MATE Red
