Watermelon Slide and Flip Fidget - Print in Place!

I'm obsessed with these summery watermelon slider fidgets--they're sooo much fun to fidget with! Each set has multi-direction rotation from the hinges and center joint, meaning that the slices smoothly slide along each other and flip over—all without any risk of the pieces coming apart or getting lost. These fidgets have hardly left my hand since I first printed them—they’re definitely one of my new favorites!

Print Notes

• I recommend using my provided print profile for the painting--this one took a bit of work to dial in for clean lines. If you're not careful, the slicer will print too much of the green rind where it's visible underneath the red layers. 
• This size fits nicely in an average adult hand, but the slicer will complain about the center pin needing supports. I've printed a dozen of these with different filaments and no supports and they've all turned out fine! Just ignore the warning unless you're sizing up significantly.
• I prefer at least 80% infill for these fidgets, as it gives the toy a nice weight and ensures a satisfying "click" as the pieces flip and fall into place. If you prefer a lighter fidget (or a faster print), feel free to lower the infill percentage.
• These sliders should move freely right off the build plate, but if you sense resistance at first just give it a few turns and it will loosen up.
• I like to iron the top surfaces for a nice smooth feel, but your ironing settings for your printer and filament need to be dialed in for it to turn out nicely. I've kept ironing off in my print profile, but I recommend turning it on if you're confident in your settings!
