update V1.1: Rounded rest version

This new version features a rounded rest to keep the remotes centered. If the bottom of your remotes is flat, it's recommended to use the original design.

However, if they have an irregular or curved shape, this one is preferable.

Both design are available for customization with the online editor.

⚠️ Just a reminder, if you are using the customizer. The editor doesn't allows me to set up an orientation for the piece. When you open the file on Bambustudio, print it with the side on the plate (just use the Auto orient button in the Top bar) and No supports.

Take a look at the profiles I uploaded, if you are not sure about it.

-----------------------------------------------

This is a fully parametric remote control holder, designed to be easily customized through the editor (click the Customize button to open it).

🔧 Customizable parameters include:

  • Maximum thickness of the remote
  • Maximum width of the remote
  • Number of slots (holders)
  • Frame thickness
  • Curve radius
  • Angle of the support

The most important parameters are probably the first three. Make sure to set the maximum width and thickness your remotes might have. Then choose how many slots you need. You should be able to print a 4–5-slot holder on an X1, P1, or A1, and 3–4 slots on an A1 Mini (mostly depending on the remote thickness).

👉 "Very nice and functional design, but the remote controls don’t stay firmly in place inside the box and tend to slide out. I solved it by adding a spacer. It would be perfect with a more stable fixing system."

Hi, the model can be customized by clicking the "customize" button Since your first remote control is very tall, you should raise the "pivotRadius" parameter and make sure the remote rests above its center of gravity If you do this, it will stay in place, because the angle of the base is steeper than the resting angle :)

The print works without any problems. Unfortunately, my remote controls do not sit well in the holder and slip through. Unfortunately, not usable for me
