Description
When faced with problems, makers search for solutions. That is what i did when i found myself needing to mount two cameras to a single tripod.
Say hello to the Double Take 2.0, an updated version of one of my very first creations. Improvements include tighter tolerances for better performance, improved strength, better aesthetic, an option to use heat set inserts and for those that still wish to use a Hex nut it is now captured rather than requiring glue. For this, A pause has been built into the g-code so you can insert a hex nut at the correct time.

This Adapter can be used to hold multiple cameras or other accessories such as mics, lights, Phone mounts, and much more. It is designed to fold down into a small form factor that can easily fit in you camera bag or even your pocket.
You will need either a ¼-20 heat set insert or hex nut. I prefer the heat set but both worth perfectly.
You will two 1-¼" chicago binding post
You will need 2 ¼-20 D Rings
The decorative print profiles use a different surface pattern just to make it look a little fancier. If you don't care you can save a few minutes of print time using the fast profiles.
I really hope you enjoy the model.
