Benchy Engraving and Painting Jigs

Description
Calling all Engravers and Model Painters!
I made a laser engraving and model holder for the Original Benchy and my favorite Star War's Benchy the mouse droid! (Special thanks to artobotix for sharing it). I have been engraving the bottoms of both benchy's and wanted an easy Jig for Engraving and painting the bottom / top of them. I started with a single holder and thought, why not maximize my F1 Ultra Bed! We like to engrave QR codes on these benchys and leave them places as Easter Eggs on cruises and amusement parks.
In this Model I have included 5 profiles.
- Single Standard Benchy Jig (works with my flat bottom shorter Benchy as well)
- Single Mouse Droid Benchy Jig
- 16x Standard Benchy Jig (also works with Flat Bottom)
- 20x Mouse Droid Benchy Jig
- Flat Bottom Benchy (this is the same dimensions but shorter and with a flat bottom for engraving)
All models print without any brim or support fine in PLA and PETG. They use non Grid infill patterns.
Engraving settings for BambuLab Black PLA
These are the settings I use on my xTool F1 Ultra, I do not know if they are correct on other machines and you should do a Material test to validate for your machine.
- Fiber IR
- 40% power
- 2100 Speed
