Description

EDIT: There is a new version of this available here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1934272-sony-xperia-1-vi-phone-case-with-custom-back-panel#profileId-2076719

This is a relatively easy to print phone case for the Sony Xperia 1 VI.

You will only get the honeycomb back if you use the according profile that I uploaded. Otherwise, to get that but still use one of your profiles, just set the top and bottom shell layers to 0 and the sparse infill pattern to honeycomb with 15% density. I recommend printing with wall generator “Arachne”.

This model is designed so you don't need an AMS, enclosure or support. I personally printed this in PETG as it is easy to print, doesn't need an enclosure and is more temperature resistant than PLA. I'd like to try printing one in a harder TPU in the future and see how it turns out.

I made this model because my original case broke and I thought I might as well make my own one. I also didn't find any other good cases that kept the buttons exposed, which is for one good for ease of use and also keeps the silhouette of the phone slim, as it should be.
