Description

Scandvik makes a series of handshowers for RVs and boats. This is a spacer for use under the flange of the 12104 shower cup. This is the same cup used on the 12107P shower kit that I have for our boat. The mounting location is in a place where the lid of the newer style 12104 is just slightly too large. There's not quite enough room for the latch to click closed, or the hinge to swing without binding. This spacer raises the cup.

I'm using the 5mm spacer, as that raises it just enough to clear both the latch and hinge. I printed in in white ASA on a Bambu X1C.

I've included two others, one at 10mm thick and one with some side flanges that might help hold it down better when using something like double-sided tape. You could also use your slicer software to cut the 10mm piece to whatever thickness you need.

I used cut pieces of small "alien tape" squares to hold mine down. Double-sided tape didn't want to grab on the remains of left over silicone caulk. You could also use the screw holes in the flange, but be sure to pre-drill, otherwise screws will crack fiberglass. And be sure to seal the cut edge inside so you don't have moisture intrusion in the future.
