Packout Side Rail Mount / Corner Mount | All Sides

Are you a packout user? Stop searching for other designs this is the perfect fit if you want to create side mounting points for your tools!

After trying multiple files laying around on the internet, i didnt found a perfect match that has all my wishes..

My Wishes for the ideal mounts (These mounts offcourse)

1. A simple corner mount for the Packout drawers where you dont need to remove the rails to mount them.

2. Strong design, no need to worry that it breaks when printed in filament like ABS/ASA.

   We all want to hang tools on the side or even lift a stack of drawers inside the car on just these Rail mounts
   (Im using these mounts for over a year with 2x 2Drawer + 1x Crate on top and lift it inside my car, Still didnt break even 1 corner)

   Dont slide on the original Rails that easy, a filled stack fill make it move, but mounted high isnt that a problem)

3. Slim design, No-one wants the side that sticks out on the sides.
   Its designed to even fit a drawer with these rails attachted on a trolley, most mount are missing this feature!

Parts you need to make it complete:

• Metal Rod 25x4mm (Aluminum is possible, but not very sturdy and magnetic)

  Short side = 33,6cm Metal Total (29,9cm Exposed between mounts)

  Long Side = 48,9cm Metal Total ( 45,1cm Exposed between mounts)
   

• For Each Corner Mount:

  4x M6 Nut (Advice, dont use a locknut to prevent breaking the nut hole when mounting)

  4x M6 Bolt 6x25mm

Tips and Tricks:

• When using Metal Rods, you can attach toolbags/Accesoires with Magnets on the side, as example:

  Im using a PVC Pipe with a Magnet for Tyrap storage (See my other Model)
  Waterbottle with Magnet, dont lose that bottle on each job every day

  Attach your Line-laser or lamp on the side, storage or even use it when attached.

• Use a Rubber/Plastic "Clamp" Profile on the metal Rod to prevent scratching your tools/Painted Rods if you are keeping them brand new ;)
• Use the Rods as a base to mount other usefull prints on the side, like a organizer mount or Spraybottle holders…..
