Description

Caps for the Central machinery 1 ton Arbor Press.  I have made caps that cover the metal parts of the machine with covers for pressing sensitive materials. I created them to protect my projects where I have to press other 3d printed molds.

Love that it worked for you! Can I asked did you have to size it up? I am wondering if I should adjust the file a bit.

I mainly just do random crafts and find it works good. I bought my arbor press for pressing bath bombs or parts together. I mainly made the file to protect my items from the raw metal edges when pressing. I personally love PLA just because it's easy to print and works with most of my use cases. Sorry I can't be much help. I have been printing for a few years and still don't have a good grasp on what all the types of filaments are for lol

Extremely snug fit. I had to scale the base by 2%. For the base, I got a little too crazy with the arbor press on the properly scaled version and the side blew out. The end result was worth it. I now have two flat surfaces to mush stuff together on!

This is great. Thank you for sharing. Do you guys know where to find files for the letters? Just starting leather embossing, so I don't have any stamps yet.

I don't but I am sure I could make something someday. I originally bought it for bath bombs but hope to emboss some of my leader projects or paper.

Glad you got it to work! It's interesting mine is almost a little looser - it stays on but I debated making it a hair smaller so I am glad I didn't. When I put mine on I line it up and then use the press to push it on all the way and if you print both the large and small top parts I store the other one on the top part of the bar so one on each end to easily interchange.
