The Slate – Minimalist 3D Printed Wallet
Ditch the bulk and keep your essentials sharp with The Slate—a sleek, 3D-printed wallet inspired by the iconic Ridge design. Crafted for makers who value form, function, and savings, this wallet holds your cards securely between two rigid plates with a flexible strap system.
💸 Save $120 by printing instead of buying! Why spend big when you can make your own premium wallet at home?

Needed Magnetic Pad ( try at your own risk. the magnets from amazon are inconsistent. Try Revised Magnet design instead to use standard 3x1 mm magnets)

BOM:
- Strap (See amazon link above)
- Screws in this kit are not intended to be used for the assembly of the wallet. It was chosen because it is the best deal to get a good quality strap as well as the metal cash strip. Please use standard M2 screws.
- Magnetic Pad (See amazon link above)
- I am going to release a version soon with standard magnets once I figure out a way to make it a little thinner
- Screws x 14. Recommend using M2x4 or M2x5
- 31 3mmx1mm magnets if you choose to print the profile with standard magnets.
* Fixed the massive links
Trim magnets to fit in the indent on the back of the “Bottom Pannel”
You may want to sand down or scratch up the surface that the magnets stick to for the adhesive to work the best.
Better Pictures and making the profile customizable (hopefully) coming soon!
Update 1:
New print profile added with airtag holder
Update 2:
Revised Magnet Design added. If you do not want to use the magnetic ring from amazon, new design allows you to use standard 3mm x 1mm magnets. Using new magnets adds a little bit more thickness, but allows for a stronger magnetic bond. Install the magnets in each loop with opposite polarity. Check bond before glueing in. Only replaces the “Bottom Plate” so you do not have to reprint the whole thing. Hold magnets in with a small drop of CA or super glue.
