How to Use
(Please be patient when waiting for it to load, the tool is a little slow to generate).
Adjust the User Parameters to define your belt:
- NumberOfTeeth: The total number of teeth for the entire belt loop. This is the primary way to set the belt's length.
- Pitch: The distance from the center of one tooth to the next (e.g., 5mm for HTD-5M, 2mm for GT2).
- BeltWidth: The overall width of the belt.
- BaseThickness: The thickness of the belt's backing material.
- ToothHeight: The height of each individual tooth.
- ToothTopWidth: The width of the flat part on top of the tooth.
Printing Recommendations
Print with a flexible filament like TPU (95A shore hardness is a good start) for best results.
- Infill: 100% for strength (although with small belts this wont matter too much).
- Orientation: Print standing vertically for best tooth quality.
- Supports: None required.
