Description

This is a manual tape applicator, designed to help you apply packing tape directly onto boxes with better control and comfort. It does not unwind the tape automatically, but instead acts as a simple guide for applying tape by hand.

A built-in tear-off mechanism is in development – the current version does not include a functional blade. However, an update will be released soon, including a swappable blade module. This will make it easy to print replacement blades individually and install them with minimal effort.

The design is compact, sturdy, and easy to print. Ideal for occasional packing tasks, small businesses, or makers who want a clean and minimal tape-handling tool.

Nice easy print, but unusable. Doesn't cut masking tape and handle is very odd.

Thanks for the feedback! The design is already made so the blade can be replaced easily. The current blade isn't perfect yet - I'm working on an improved version. Once it's ready, you'll just need to reprint the blade (not the whole thing) and it should work much better. Appreciate your input!

Nice print, almost exactly what I need. If you are @einFapi up for a challenge, I have water activated tape, that needs to touch some sort of a sponge while taping, similar to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx25c378F1Y. If you could figure out a way to do it, I would greatly appreciate that :)

Cool design, however cannot cut tape with the printable cutter.

The tear-off/cutting function does not work. It should be sharper, or perhaps offer the possibility to insert a knife or a piece of saw blade

Printed really well but it doesn’t cut packaging tape. Happy to rate 5 stars when/if the “blade” actually works.
