Description
This 3D-printable replacement handle was specifically designed for Hobby caravans built from model year 2017 onwards (maybe also older versions, i can't verify that). The original handle is known to be a weak point and is prone to cracking or breaking under everyday use—especially when exposed to high stress or intense sunlight.
The original replacement part can cost up to €250, making this 3D-printed version a highly cost-effective alternative.
Recommended Filament:
For long-term durability outdoors, we recommend printing in ABS or ASA:
- ABS: High strength and heat resistance
- ASA: Includes UV protection – ideal for outdoor use
Note:
This handle is precisely modeled and closely matches the original part in both fit and function. Depending on the exact caravan model, minor adjustments may be required.
For doors on the right-hand side, a mirrored print profile is included. The original print profile is intended for left-hand side doors.
