Caution: Now new, the holder in sizes L and XL and for filling the middle part.

Hello print friends,

here I share my attempt at a kitchen roll holder with interchangeable wall patterns

The holder fits standard paper rolls and is also printable on an A1 mini (standard version only)

The holder takes the most time to print. The material does not play an important role here

The walls are printed on the plate. An effect plate is suitable here (Profile 1&2). I recommend PETG because of its flexibility. The walls must be bent slightly during installation. PETG is simply ideal for this. Other materials are also possible, of course. PLA Silk or reinforced filaments will be a bit difficult. That would have to be tried 😉

Profile 1:

  • Paper holder
  • two wall plates in Kumiko design
  • no AMS needed

Profile 2:

  • Paper holder
  • two wall plates in Gyroid design
  • two wall plates in honeycomb design
  • no AMS needed

Profile 3: (here a layer is needed as a support, so the plate is printed rotated)

  • Paper holder
  • two wall plates in Archimedean Chords design
  • two wall plates in Hilbert Curve design
  • two wall plates in Octagram Spiral design
  • an AMS is needed

Profile 4: (no longer compatible with A1 mini)

  • Paper holder size L (for 135 mm kitchen rolls)
  • two wall plates in Kumiko design
  • two wall plates in Gyroid design
  • two wall plates in honeycomb design
  • no AMS is needed

new

Profile 5: (no longer compatible with A1 mini)

  • Paper holder size XL (for 155 mm kitchen rolls)
  • two wall plates in Kumiko design
  • two wall plates in Gyroid design
  • two wall plates in honeycomb design
  • no AMS is needed

new

Profile 6:

  • Paper holder size M, L, XL
  • Version with screw cap to weigh down the model or to hide things 😉
  • no AMS is needed

Profile 2 and 3 can be customized by you. Here you only need to edit the wall modifier in the profile. Here you can change the infill density and the infill pattern

Feel free to post your pictures in the comments

Have fun printing!!!

Assembly note:

Slightly pre-bend the printed walls and then push them into the holder from below

The walls usually hold without problems. With difficult filaments, you can help with a little glue
