Description

This is a fully customizable, parametric cable clamp generator for 3D printing. It’s designed to securely hold cords, wires, or hoses onto cylindrical objects such as rods, pipes, vacuum cleaner tubes, and similar surfaces.

Thanks to MakerWorld’s Customize feature, you can easily adjust the model to perfectly match your needs, without editing any code or design files.

Available Parameters:

  • clamp_inner_diam: Defines the inner diameter of the clamp. This sets the size of the object (e.g., tube or pipe) the clamp will wrap around.
  • cable_thickness: Determines the diameter of the cord, wire, or hose that the clamp will hold.
  • filet_size: Controls the roundness of edges and corners, giving the clamp a smoother, more polished appearance.
  • clamp_arm_thickness: Sets the thickness of one arm of the clamp. The total clamp thickness is twice this value.

Update 20/01/2026: Fixed issue where clamp_inner_diam was ≥ 100mm and view/model was not updated. Thanks to @knartz for reporting this!

Happy printing! Let me know how it works for you. Check out also Ikea Skadis collection with my other models ;)

Reprinted a bunch using 4 walls instead of 2, using 20% gyroid infill instead of 15% grid and 3mm clamp arm thickness instead of 4mm. Still using PETG. These are working GREAT! Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your settings! Glad to hear they’re working great. Could you attach your print profile? It would be really helpful to see the exact setup, and it could benefit others as well.

Super cool but broke with setting of 27mm for the pipe and 3mm for the wire. Maybe the cutout to snap on the pipe isn't wide enough. I used PETG-HF. The generator works very well.

Thanks for testing it and sharing the details! I’m using a bunch of clamps generated with this generator (for 35mm hose, 4mm cable, print settings as in the attached profile) and haven’t encountered this issue, though I used PLA instead of PETG. From my experience, PETG is very brittle (although it has higher wear resistance). I should note that I’ve never used PETG-HF, so I can’t really comment on it. Glad to hear the generator itself works well!
