Nikolai Xander RC Car Stand – Traxxas, Axial
Print Profile(1)

Description
I've remixed the stand created by Raz B to have a thicker post (to prevent wobbling), and it's almost twice as tall.
I also had a hard time printing the top plate from Raz's model, as printing upside down meant that the top of the plate was pretty rough looking. You now also don't need any support material to get the desired cradle shape. Printing the top plate sideways ensures that the filament lines run perpendicular to the stress points of the cradle - the wings on the cradle would crack previously, so I've thickened those bend-points up.
In this latest model the post, the base and the top plate are all modular. Print them individually and then assemble.
Printing all of the plates in this model will get you two RC Car Stands. Make sure you print the base twice.
Prints well with .4 nozzles and with .6 nozzles. Use brims on everything but the base, and keep the top plates on their side for best results.
