Rectangular Differential

This is a 3D-printable rectangular differential designed for radio-controlled (RC) cars. The differential allows each wheel on the same axle to rotate at different speeds when cornering — a critical function for improving traction, reducing drivetrain stress, and ensuring smooth handling in RC vehicles.

 Specifications:

• Main gear module: 1 mm
• Four satellite gears:
  • Two standard satellite gears
  • Two slotted satellite gears (for torque transfer)
• Additional hardware required:
  • Two 3 mm metal shafts
  • One shaft for the two slotted satellite gears

 Assembly Notes:

• The main gear cover is provided as a separate part for easier printing.
  You will need to glue or weld it after printing.
• All dimensions are shown in the reference image.
