Description

**Kobalt and Greenwork batteries are interchangeable, except their rail systems prevent them from sliding into each others tools. While you can modify the rails on an existing case, I decided that I'd take a go at making my own case that would allow them to be used interchangeably.

A few people expressed interest in having a case for the smaller 2 & 2.5ah batteries, so I took my 4ah design (https://makerworld.com/en/models/679715-greenworks-kobalt-battery-case-80v-4ah#profileId-607983) and modified the internals for these sizes.  I was able to use both a Kobalt 2ah & GW 2.5ah in this case.

*I will note that the Kobalt 2ah battery indicator was not quite cooperating, and I had to press with extra pressure to get the lights to come on.  However, my battery is several years old and pretty beat up, so Im not sure if it's isolated to just mine.  Seemed like the button depth was off tolerance by about .25mm.  The GreenWorks 2.5 worked without an issue.

The battery cover may be a bit snug to put on, so you may have to work it just slightly. The screw mounts should self tap on the first use, so expect them to be a bit tight when screwing them in (Don't over torque).
