Camera Lens Cap Holder

A simple lens cap holder to keep the cap safe

How does it work?

Screw  the threaded holder with the loop into the bottom of your camera.

Use a sticky pad or glue the non threaded loop to the outside of your lens cap

Thread and secure an elastic band (or use two bands together) between the loop on the camera base and the included hook (see photos) - clip the hook onto the lens cap loop, it is designed to be a tight fit so it doesn't fall off

When you take off the lens cap it will dangle below the camera and not fall on the floor

Alternatively, attach the threaded holder (the one without the loop) to the lens cap with a piece of sticky pad or glue, and simply screw the lens cap to the bottom of you camera when you take it off.

You have a choice of two methods to suit your needs

Print with PLA or a stronger filmanent such as ABS or PETG for a stronger print

Do you know what a Boost Token is?

If you download models from MakerWorld.com it is likely that you've got some boost tokens in your account

They are awarded for completing certain tasks, such as downloading a model

It's likely that you have quite a few, but may not be aware of them

Tokens typically have an expiry date and many ppl do let them expire and don't use them - its a shame, but they're easy to overlook ;)

When you see a ‘Boost Me’ section, like the one below and click it, you will be able to gift a creator a boost of points, you can boost several times too

After a period of time these build up and the grateful receiver can exchange them for a growing list of rewards, such as filament, maker kits and more

Its a great way to say thank you!

Works very good. Didn't break and kept the lens cap where it should be 'not on the ground'
