Description
Online, A36-sized light hoods cost hundreds, so I quickly made a custom one. The current version's 15cm outer dimensions perfectly avoid obscuring the LED light during filming, while the inner 15cm shadow precisely covers the timestamp without encroaching on the main subject!
After designing several versions, I finally found the perfectly fitting dimensions.
PETG-HF / PETG / TPU prints fit perfectly, and most PLA prints also fit snugly; minor adjustments may be needed for slightly loose fits.
I recommend printing with matte PETG-HF / TPU / PETG-CF for a ready-to-use finish. PETG / PLA may have a glossy appearance, easily remedied with a coat of paint.
