Description

Edit - I have added a slot in the face to make it easier to get the belt tensioner screw in.

This is a remix of Man-in-Black's great design to fit my CR6-SE printer better. I incorporated a plate in the foot to replace the face plate that has to be removed to allow the foot to be inserted. It also has a thicker frame on the bracket and have included a threaded insert to clamp the webcam in as it was becoming loose as the printer was running.

Once the bracket is printed insert an M4 x 6 heated threaded insert, being careful not to deform the bracket with the heat. Use an M4 x 16 screw to hold the camera in place.

To mount the foot, you will need to completely unscrew the Y-Axis belt tensioner and remove the face place. Then you can add the foot in its place, and re-tighten the belt tensioner. If the hole is to tight for the tensioner bolt, drill it out with a 4mm drill bit.

Once that is complete mount the Arm and the Bracket into the foot and plug in your webcam.

The bracket has been tested with a Logitech C270 and a Logi Brio 100, but I'm sure it should fit with other cameras, if not let me know and I will design a bracket to suit your camera.

I used CC3D Flame Orange PLA Max for this, so far it has held up well from the heat off the bed, however, if you feel it would be better to use a more heat resistant material (ie PETG) go right ahead.
