Boosts are greatly appreciated if you like my design.
For the Voron Trident im building i wanted to use as much Bambu parts as i can. So with Bambu P1/X1 Gears and Bambu Extruder Motor i designed an extruder that matches the HGX-LITE mounting points. Its alittle lighter than the HGX.
Printed in ASA- No supports
Optional- i added Voron logo if wanted to print multicolor, just need to paint it on by clicking on the face.
Parts needed
P1/X1 gear set
Extruder Motor
2-3 M3 Heat inserts - 1 is used for spring tension, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
4 M3x8
1 M3x18
1 Spring - i used a spring from old Ender extruder and i cut it to fit
Instructions
mount the base to the extruder with 2 M3x8 bolts
place the bigger extruder gear in place
place the smaller extruder gear. Use a M3x18 or can use longer. the bolt threads into the print fine- i did not use heat insert here but you can.
Dont tighted the bolt too tight- need to make sure the arm can move.
Optional- heat insert where the spring sits
Cut or find spring that fits between the gear and the base.
install heat inserts where the face plate is mounted too. top middle and bottom left
install face plate making sure the bearings are in place
secure plate with 2 M3x8 bolts
Optional- PTFE fitting on top. i did not add threads to it so its a tight fit threading the fitting on top. i just used what i had.
similar to the HGX the PTFE tube can go up the bottom of the extruder-
