Hairpin

A hairpin is not merely an adornment; it is a token imbued with profound sentiment.In antiquity, a man's gift of a hairpin to a woman signified a proposal, a pledge of "binding hair to become husband and wife." There were also instances of spouses compelled to part, wherein the woman would cleave her hairpin in two, giving one half to her beloved and keeping the other, to be reunited upon their next meeting. Bai Juyi's Tang dynasty poem, "The Song of Everlasting Sorrow," with its line "a hairpin left, a fan united," serves as a quintessential example of the hairpin as a token of enduring affection.

For assembly, you can press it in using the handle of a putty knife, thus alleviating hand strain (^w^);

The circular ring is a somewhat failure-prone area, but repairs are feasible; simply locate the ring, and manually mend it;

Repair prints are brief; remember to press the pause button on the build plate mid-print of the ring;

After aligning, remember to manually secure it to prevent spaghetti (~^~)
2025-7-10 Based on feedback, the eye apertures have been refined for optimal fit; the dowel's thickness and length have been adjusted; the rear dowel's retaining clip volume has been adjusted, eliminating the need for adhesive—now a perfect fit.
