High-quality design of Cortés Gold (also known as Aztec Gold, Spanish Dollars or Reales)
In the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, the "Piece of Eight" coins, also known as Spanish Dollars or Reales, are depicted as large, round silver coins. Prop replicas of these coins are typically around 38mm (1.5 inches) in diameter and 4mm thick. Some close-up versions for filming were made in a larger 54mm (2 1/8 inch) size.
The coin is designed in size 115.2mm that can simply be resized to film's sizes with no print quality loss:
- 54 mm(X,Y: 44%, Z: 33%)
- 38mm(XYZ: 33%)
Please be aware that the thickness is always 4mm or 33%.
