Between June and September is no joke when the blazing heat from the sun hits your skin. The pores in your skin begins to open up overflowing with salty sweat forming like condensation on a window transforming into droplets cascading down the surface of your skin. This is your body attempt to not over heat, to not over heat, your body needs air flow to evaporate the sweat in hopes to feel a cooling sensation.
In high moisture high humidity air, the sweat produced by your body may not be able to evaporate efficiently causing the body to increase temperature. The best way to help assist your body is to provide moving air across your skin to help evaporate the sweat effectively cooling down your body. No matter where you are in the world, a manual handheld fan is the most reliable device to aid your body in cooling down in high heat situations. From going on long hikes to outdoor concerts and cultural events, a manual handheld fan will not fail you with a drained out battery or a blackout. This 3d printable manual handheld fan will save you when your battery operated fan is dead.

Technical Information:
There are now three variants of the handheld fan. A Large version, a medium version and a small version.
Large Handheld Fan:
- Fan consists of 12 fan blades, 11 connectors, and a tension ring, with and option for 14 fan blades.
- The blades are 1 mm thick and 220 mm in length.
Medium Handheld Fan:
- Fan consists of 12 fan blades, 11 connectors, and a tension ring, with and option for 14 fan blades.
- The blades are 1 mm thick and 168.90 mm in length.
Small Handheld Fan:
- Fan consists of 12 fan blades, 11 connectors, and a tension ring, with an option for 14 fan blades
- The blades are 1mm thick and 125 mm length.
Assembly Information:
The connectors are very small, therefore, it will take some precision in linking each blade together. If you are up for the challenge, the reward will be worth it. It will take some breaking in, but the fan can open up with a flick of the wrist using gravity to spread all 12 or 14 fan blades outwards and partially retract inward. check the linked video for more details on the assembly.
