Description

Something I designed to store multiple long items vertically in a GMC Savana cargo van.

You can also mount it to a wall via the 4 screw holes I've included.

In the photos, I'm using it to hold a snow/ice removal tool, 2 umbrellas, and a walking cane. The items can be either dropped in from above or lifted up through the top part and then down into the bottom part (in places like a van where there is limited height).

Installs nicely in the vertical channels of a 2022 GMC Savana (also sold as Chevy Express), using the bolt hardware that came with the vehicle. They can also be screwed into wood or similar surfaces using the 4 smaller screw-holes (I've included spacers you can use to make the back flat). Position the top and bottom parts as needed.

Printing:

Printed with Bambu ABS (Black) on Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle on Bambu Engineering Plate.

No supports necessary. If using this as I have (inside a van that can get quite hot), I recommend ABS for its heat resistance. PETG should still work okay though, but I'd probably add some more infill/walls to give it more rigidity. I don't have it set to print particularly pretty (0.28mm layer height), but that didn't matter to me with my application. Feel free to tweak this if you care about the appearance. I just wanted it to print faster. I've included a size test for the van-mount version in case you want to verify that (see final plate of profile).

Enjoy!
