Description

This is my first model that actually needs to be assembled. I spent a few days really grinding on it - had to wrestle with some tricky parts - but now everything fits together nicely, and I’m genuinely happy with how it turned out. I also learned a lot in the process.

 

I hope someone out there enjoys a capybara in a flamingo as much as I do. 🥰

 

Step 1: Insert the connectors into the flamingo halve.


Step 2: Assemble the flamingo around the capybara.

 

Bonus: For that satisfying click, use 6x3 mm magnets instead of the connectors.


It may look ready for the pool, but it's strictly a dry-land creature.
It does not float upside down. At all. Ever. I really tryed. >﹏<



Print settings i used (included in the 3MF File): 

  • Layer height: 0.12 mm
  • Infill: 5% Alignedrectilinear
  • Supports: Yes
  • Support type: tree (auto)
  • Fuzzy Skin: external
  • Fuzzy Thickness: 0.1 - Fuzzy Point Distance: 0.2

Model: Capybara

  • Fuzzy Point Distance: 0.3- Fuzzy Thickness: 0.15

Model: Flamingo-connector

  • Infill density: 100%
