Description

If you have a Herman Miller Aeron chair with the flip-lock armrests that keep falling, you can try shims to slide in place to keep them locked tighter. I've had luck using these after trying to tighten and adding washers internally to the flip lock mechanism, but they tend to keep loosening up. Installing these is a quicker fix, it just requires finding the right size shim (multiple sizes included), and installing it while the flip lock is unlocked and wiggling the armrest back and forth. I have a picture of it installed, I like installing it from the bottom to hide it, and it seems to lock better for me. PLA works fine for me, but TPU or PETG might be a good alternative as well.
