What’s improved in V2:

• 🧩 New two-part lid design (snap-fit assembly) → prints completely without supports
• 🔧 Reworked thread geometry → easier to screw on, no more stuck lids
• 📏 Internal “MAX” fill line → prevents overfilling and reduces leakage
• 🛡️ Improved bottom geometry + updated print profile → lower leak risk and better sealing

🍎 Fruit Fly Trap – Apple Edition 🍎
 

This decorative fruit fly trap looks just like a fresh apple — and it works like a charm! I previously made a simpler version, but this one is more elegant and better suited for your kitchen counter.

🛠️ Print Details:

• Sized like a real apple
• Prints great in PLA
• Designed to be printed in two colors for a realistic look, or single color for a clean decorative style
• The lid requires supports (they’re included in the print profile)
• Two notches on the lid:
  • One allows you to use the leaf as a key to twist open the trap
  • The other is for storing the leaf when the lid is closed

🪰 How it works:

• Pour about 1 cm of wine or beer inside the trap
• Optionally add a few pieces of very ripe fruit
• Fruit flies enter through the small hole in the lid — most will drown, others will struggle to escape

Functional and stylish — this apple keeps the flies away!
