If your web interface is only black: The problem usually occurs because the exact same library versions are not being used. These three libraries are particularly important:

  • ESPAsyncWebServer
  • ESPAsyncTCP
  • ESP8266WiFi

Solution (simply choose):

  1. Download my ready-made ZIP file from MakerWorld – it contains all libraries in the correct version. Simply unpack it and replace your old libraries with it.

    OR

  2. Follow my instructions exactly on the website (step-by-step with Arduino IDE images) – this way you will install the same versions as I use.

This will make the website work perfectly again for almost everyone! 😊
