Description

A case to house a Waveshare ESP32-C6 Mini Development Board and a BME280 temperature and humidity sensor. Can be use with ESPHome and Home Assistant. When mounting the ESP32 in the case for the first time it might require some pressure, please apply pressure on the corners on opposite side of the USB-C port.

Wiring:

ESP32: GND → BME280: GND

ESP32: 3V3 → BME280: VCC

ESP32: 14 → BME280: SOA

ESP32: 15 → BME280: SCL

For use with ESPHome and Home Assistant:

When you have added the ESP32 board to ESPHome you can edit the YAML configuration and add the YAML code included in the yaml.txt file I have added. I have added a -3 offset on the temperature that is reported to compensate for heat that the ESP32 generates. Feel free to play around with the offset. If you can get a more accurate offset, please let me know and I will update the yaml.txt file and this description.
