Description
Measures air pressures up to 33cm H2O / 13 in. aq. / 3.2 kPa / 0.45 PSI / 0.03 atm.
I designed this to help with my ongoing pipe organ and wind instrument projects, but they have other applications:
--Characterizing cooling fans/blowers
--Physics education
--Staining your wall and carpet by accident
Requires a flexible tube (silicone recommended over vynil/PVC) with a 12mm outer diameter, water, and food colouring.
Water should be changed every few weeks or when contaminated with organic matter, or drained if not in use! Otherwise, germs and algae may grow in the tube. Please comment if you know a long-term solution for this.
