Description

Description

This is a 3D Model of the new AMS HT to aid fellow makers with designing accessories, mounts, etc. to fit with it.  To download the model, use the dropdown menu above and select “Download STL/CAD Files”.

It is an unofficial model I created myself by taking measurements.  It includes the heater intake and exhaust locations, plug locations, etc.  While it is very accurate and I took a lot of time and care taking the measurements, there may be an occasional mistake.  Please let me know and I will try to fix it.

Note the inside was with difficult to measure with compound curves and non-uniform surfaces so some of that portion is my best estimate based on the measurements I could take.

Some things I recommend you keep in mind when designing for this AMS Unit.

  • It does have a heater that does get up to 85 deg C, so designing for PLA is very risky.
  • The heater has intake and exhaust ports, so they should NOT be blocked by anything.
  • Please verify any design using your actual physical AMS unit.

NOTE: I have also uploaded Bambu AMS 2 Pro CAD Model (.stp file)  if you are in need of that as well.

Update - added scaled version in a print profile if you want to print it.

Hey, does anybody know if the printed lid from this file will fit on an actual A? MSHT and work because I'm trying to print a bigger double-walled version, or I should say, thicker, double-walled version of the lid that I can fill that gap with insulating spray foam, as I currently have my H. T getting close to a 100°C. And I'm trying to get it a little higher as I have 2 rolls of PPA CF coming.

It is just a greatly scaled down one. I don't know for sure if it would fit as a full replacement if scaled back to 100%. The curvature especially is my best estimate based on the measurements.
